Looking for an hourly taxi service in Trivandrum for errands, meetings or local stops? An hourly cab package can be simpler than arranging a separate ride for every leg. The useful question is how many hours and kilometres your plan may need.
UCabs lists local packages of 2 hours/20 km, 4 hours/40 km and 8 hours/80 km for its Dzire and Ertiga categories on the Trivandrum tariff page. Other vehicle categories have their own listed packages. Check the live tariff for the current price and the precise vehicle option before booking.
Match the package to your stops
For a short visit with one or two nearby stops, begin by checking whether the 2-hour package covers the full plan. A half-day with several appointments may call for the 4-hour option. If the car needs to remain with you through most of the day, compare the 8-hour package or a daily package instead.
Write down your pickup point, every planned stop and your final drop-off. Allow time for traffic, waiting and the activity at each stop. A package's hours and kilometres are both limits: using up either one can lead to an extra charge. Tell the booking team about changes to the route before the trip starts when possible.
Select a comfortable car
A Dzire or similar air-conditioned car may suit a smaller group with modest luggage. An Ertiga, Innova or larger vehicle may be more practical when extra passengers or bags are involved. State the number of adults, children and bags when requesting a quote; the team can then confirm a vehicle category that fits your trip.
The tariff page also lists Tempo Travellers and buses for larger groups. Package inclusions differ by vehicle, so read the actual row for the category you choose instead of applying a sedan allowance to every vehicle.
Ask about the final amount
Before confirming, check the package's starting point, included hours and kilometres, extra-hour and extra-kilometre charges, and any charges for parking or tolls. UCabs states that its listed tariffs can change during high peak-season dates. A written trip-specific quote is particularly useful if you will be travelling on a busy date or crossing into another state.

Quick questions
Is an 8-hour package the same as an unlimited-distance taxi? No. The package has a kilometre allowance as well as a time allowance; check both when planning your stops.
What if my trip runs late? Ask for the extra-hour rate for your chosen vehicle before booking and tell the team if you expect the itinerary to change.
